NHH Produce Buying Club
Do you live in the Wesley Chapel or surrounding area? Would you like the opportunity to buy a huge array of fresh organic produce for significantly less than you pay at the health food store? Are you willing to volunteer two hours per month to help make it happen? Do you have access to email? If you answered “YES!” to all of these questions, the Natural Health Hut Buying Club is for you!
This is how it will work:

Membership is $25 per year per family.

One person from each membership/family must volunteer 2 hours each month. Anyone within your family can volunteer.

To begin with, orders will be placed the 2nd and 4th week of the month.

Sunday evening each member will receive an email that contains the Produce Price List. The list will contain the Organic Produce and other Organic items for sale by the pound, each, and/ or bunch. There are two prices listed. The first price is for members who volunteer and the second price is for members who do not volunteer.

Each Member will select the items they desire and the quantities from the produce price list. There is no minimum or maximum which you have to order.

The member will then return their shopping list by email. It must be returned by 12:00 noon on Tuesday.

You may pick up your produce on Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

When you pick up your produce, a volunteer will hand you your pre-printed produce order. You will select the produce to fill your order based on what is available. A volunteer will help you weigh your produce, write your invoice, and check you out.

You can pay by check, credit card or cash.

As a member you are asked to volunteer 2 hours per month. Volunteers will be asked to do one or more of the following in a two hour period: Clean refrigerators, ice chests, sweep the refrigerator area and the Pavilion, wipe down tables, check in the produce when it is delivered, help members weigh their produce, write their invoices, and cash them out, etc.

Volunteer sign up sheet: when you come to pick up your produce you can sign yourself up for volunteering. We have volunteer sign up sheets for two months in advance.

You must pick up your order by 4:00 pm on Saturday as we have limited refrigeration space.
Volunteering: To make this buying club cost effective your time is needed. We ask that each member volunteer 2 hours per month. However…if you cannot volunteer and would still like to have the opportunity to purchase from our Club, your mark-up will be at 30% versus 15%.
Canceling your volunteer day and time: You are responsible for finding a replacement to complete the volunteer hours you committed to. If you cancel at the last minute and do not find a replacement, the cost of your produce for that month will be at the 30% mark-up.
If you’d like to be an active member of the Natural Health Hut Buying Club, please print, fill out and return the attached application with your membership fee of $25.
